H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will participate in the informal meeting to be held with the participation of Foreign Ministers of the EU member states and candidate countries in Malta on 28 April 2017, upon the invitation of H.E. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/the Vice President of the Commission and H.E. George Vella, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Malta currently holding the EU Presidency. The informal meeting format in question, also known as “Gymnich meetings”, gives the opportunity for an informal exchange of views on foreign policy developments.

During the meeting, the participants will exchange views on current regional and global developments.
